Good Days / Your data

Choose what
you keep.

You don’t need an account to use Good Days. These steps apply if you connected Apple for cloud recovery.

Delete your cloud account and history

  1. Open Good Days on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings → Backup and recovery.
  3. Connect the Apple account used for your backup, if needed.
  4. Choose Delete cloud account and history, review the confirmation, and confirm.
  5. Keep the app open and online until it confirms deletion. If it reports an error, your request has not finished—reconnect and try again.

This deletes the cloud account and cloud journal history and revokes its Apple connection where the stored authorization credential is available. Older accounts may receive instructions to remove the Apple connection manually.

What stays on your phone?

Deleting the cloud account leaves your local journal and Saved copies on the device. You can clear individual days in the calendar. To remove all local data, including Saved copies, remove the app’s data from the device. Offloading an iPhone app keeps its documents and data; it is not the same as deleting the app.

Previously exported files remain wherever you saved or shared them. Good Days cannot delete those copies.

Pausing is different from deleting

Pausing backup stops syncing but keeps your existing cloud history. Deleting the app alone does not delete your cloud account. To remove cloud data, complete the in-app deletion steps first.
